Sealed & filed
- Encrypted at rest
- Files are encrypted with AES-256-GCM in a chunked streaming format - tamper, truncation, and reorder evident - and are never held in memory whole, even at the 2GB size cap.
- Per-user keys
- Each account has its own encryption keys, wrapped by a master key that never touches the database. Anonymous uploads get a fresh single-file key.
- No IP addresses
- We never store visitor IPs. Readers are identified by a salted one-way hash, countries are derived in-flight, and the address is discarded - analytics without surveillance.
- Expiry you control
- Set any link to expire - an hour, a day, a year - or keep it indefinitely on Pro. Expired files are swept from disk within the minute, so nothing lingers unless you want it to.
- Sessions, not trackers
- Readership is first-party measurement of your own document, inside our viewer. No third-party scripts, no cookies following anyone across the web.
Honest small print: a reader's browser must receive the pages to display them - download controls deter, they don't DRM.

Which viewer modes does EveryPage support?
Four: the standard scrolling viewer, a page-turning flipbook, a magazine spread, and a mobile swipe deck. You pick the mode per document, and every mode reports the same page-by-page readership.
How do I control who can open my PDF?
Password-protect the link, require an email address before viewing, set an expiry date or a self-destruct view limit, and issue per-recipient links you can revoke individually - without touching anyone else’s copy.
Can I update a PDF after sharing the link?
Yes. Dynamic links let you swap the file behind a link you have already sent, so the deck in an old email always opens the latest version. QR codes keep working too.
Which features are on the free plan?
The free plan covers sharing with page-by-page reader analytics on up to 3 active PDFs. Advanced controls - custom domains, email capture gates, CSV export, watermarking and more - arrive with Basic and Pro.
How are my documents stored?
Every file is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and readers’ IP addresses are never stored - readership uses pseudonymous identities instead.
