Flipbook or swipe reading

Pages turn like a printed book on desktop and read as a swipeable story on phones, on every plan, with no PDF download to lose in a folder.

Email gate for lead magnets (Pro)

Ask for an email before chapter one opens and the ebook becomes a lead magnet with a named reader behind every open.

Completion rate

The read-through funnel (Basic) shows the share of readers who reached each chapter and the page where the rest closed the book.

Watermark to deter resharing

Per-viewer watermarking (Pro) puts each reader’s email on every page and in any download, which is a quiet reason not to forward the file.

An ebook that reads like a book, not a PDF download

A PDF attachment is the worst way to read a book. It opens in whatever viewer the reader has, the layout fights the screen, and it ends up in a downloads folder with the receipts. Shared as an EveryPage flipbook, the ebook opens in the browser with pages that turn and two-page spreads on wider screens, and on a phone it becomes a swipeable story, one page per card, read with a thumb.

All four viewer modes come with the free plan, and the reader needs no account or app. Interactive hotspots (Pro) let a chapter link to a worksheet, embed a video walkthrough or play an audio note on the page, so the ebook can do things the printed edition cannot. The link never expires unless you decide it should.

Everything an ebook link needs

  • An email gate for lead magnets (Pro). Readers enter an email before the ebook opens, the address lands in your reader list with the session behind it, and a lead webhook passes it to your mailing tool as it arrives.
  • A watermark on every copy (Pro). Each reader’s email or reader ID is tiled across the pages and stamped into any download, so a paid ebook that leaks names the copy it leaked from.
  • Chapter updates in place (Pro). Fix the typo in chapter three or add the new appendix by replacing the file behind the link; every reader who bookmarked it gets the current edition.
  • A link that never expires. The URL in your newsletter, your author bio and your course keeps working for as long as you want it to. Expiry is a setting you choose, not the default.

Know how many readers reach the last chapter

Downloads tell you how many people wanted the ebook. The read-through funnel (from the Basic plan) tells you how many read it: the percentage of readers who reached each page, the time spent on every chapter, and the point where most of them stopped. If half your readers close the book at chapter two, chapter two is the edit.

Reader identities (Pro) take it to the individual: which subscribers finished, who came back for the worksheet in chapter five, and who never got past the introduction. That is the list for the follow-up email, and the honest measure of whether the ebook is doing its job as a lead magnet or as a product.

Ebook sharing questions.

Is it free to share an ebook as a flipbook?

Yes. The free plan shares up to three PDFs of 20MB each in flipbook, magazine, swipe or standard mode, on never-expiring links. An image-heavy ebook may need compressing to fit the free limit; Basic allows 200MB and Pro 2GB. The email gate, watermarking and in-place updates are Pro features.

Can I upload from Word, Canva or InDesign?

Word documents (.docx up to 25MB) are converted to PDF on upload. From Canva, InDesign or any other layout tool, export a PDF and upload that; the flipbook keeps the layout exactly as exported.

Is reader tracking private?

Readers are identified by a pseudonymous ID unless they give an email at the gate, and EveryPage never stores an IP address. Files are encrypted at rest, and readers see the book in the browser with no account or app.

Can I fix a chapter without changing the link?

On Pro, yes. Replace the PDF behind the link and every existing URL, QR code and embed opens the corrected edition, with your readership history carried on. On free and Basic, upload the new file and share its link.

Can I collect emails before readers open the ebook?

Yes, with the email gate on Pro. Readers enter a working email before the first page, you get a named reader list with reading depth per person, and a lead webhook can send each address to your mailing tool the moment it is captured.
