Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as:
- Account information (name, email)
- Files you upload
- Readership data for documents you share (page views, time spent, country)
A note on reader privacy
When someone reads a document you shared, we do not store their IP address. Each reader is assigned a stable, pseudonymous identity derived from a salted one-way hash, so document owners can recognise returning readers without us ever retaining the underlying address. A reader's country is resolved in transit (via ip-api.com) and the IP is then discarded. We do not set advertising cookies, and the only cookie EveryPage itself sets is the first-party session cookie that keeps you signed in. A document owner on the Pro plan may connect their own Google Analytics property to their viewer; when they do, Google sets its own cookies for that document and the owner is responsible for the disclosure and consent that requires. EveryPage does not read or use those cookies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain our services
- Process transactions
- Send you important updates
- Improve our services
3. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Per-user AES-256 encryption for files at rest
- HTTPS encryption for data in transit
- Regular security audits
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings.
5. Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of processors to run the service:
- Stripe - subscription payments and billing
- MailerSend - transactional email (verification, password resets, share and notification emails)
- ip-api.com - in-transit country lookup for reader analytics (no IP is stored)
6. Your Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time - deleting your account from your settings removes your account and all associated files. For any data request or question about how we process your information, email support@everypage.co.
7. Contact
For questions about these terms or our privacy practices, email support@everypage.co or use the contact form.
