Photo proofing & page marks
Send a proofing gallery, get picks back
Share one link and let each reviewer mark every page pick, maybe, or reject - and annotate the exact spot with a box and a comment. You get a per-page tally, a breakdown by reviewer, and a CSV of the selections.

Pick · maybe · reject
Every reviewer marks each page or photo with one tap - pick, maybe, or reject. No account, no download, no spreadsheet: the whole selection happens inside the gallery link.
A tally you can act on
You see a running tally on every page - how many picks, maybes, and rejects it collected - and a breakdown of exactly which reviewer chose what, so a split decision is never a mystery.
Box-and-comment annotations
A reviewer drags a box around the detail they mean and attaches a comment to it - "crop tighter here", "retouch this" - and you read every annotation grouped by page, tagged with who left it.
Selections that persist
Each reviewer's picks are saved and waiting when they come back, so a client can proof across several sittings - and when you invited them by name, every selection carries that name.
Proofing that comes back as a decision, not a thread
A proofing round usually ends as a mess: a folder of files, an email thread of filenames, and a client who "thinks it was the third one from the top". Sending the gallery as an EveryPage link replaces all of that with a structured selection. One URL opens the whole set in the browser, on any device, and each reviewer marks every page pick, maybe, or reject right there - so what comes back to you is an answer, page by page, not a paragraph to decode.
The same link is where feedback lives. Instead of "the one with the tree, make it warmer", a reviewer draws a box on the exact frame and pins the comment to it. You open one report and see every annotation grouped by page, next to the pick/maybe/reject tally for that page and the name of whoever left it - the entire round in one place.
How photo proofing works
- Pick, maybe, reject - per page. One image per page works best: each page becomes a unit a reviewer can mark. Every mark updates a live per-page tally so you can watch the shortlist form.
- A breakdown by reviewer. You get more than a total - you see which reviewer chose pick, maybe, or reject on each page, so you can tell the art director from the client and act on the split.
- Named reviewers via invites.Send the gallery to a list and every set of picks arrives with a name attached rather than as anonymous marks - the same email-invite distribution that names your readers.
- Box-and-comment annotations.A reviewer drags a box around the detail and attaches a comment to it; you read them all grouped by page, tagged with who left each one - no account required of the reviewer.
- Selections that persist across visits.A reviewer's marks are saved to them, so proofing can span several sittings and pick up where they left off - and a returning client sees their own shortlist intact.
- Export the selections to CSV.Pull the whole round out as a CSV - every page, every reviewer, every pick/maybe/reject - to hand to the retoucher, the printer, or your own records.
- Watermark and self-destruct the preview.Client previews are proofs, not deliverables: per-viewer watermarking names every page per reviewer, and a self-destructing link lets the whole gallery expire on a view budget or a date once the selection is made.
What the owner actually sees
Your side of a proofing gallery is a single report. Each page shows its pick/maybe/reject tally and, expanded, the individual reviewers behind those marks; each annotation sits under the page it belongs to with the box preserved and the commenter named. The shortlist is whatever you filter to - every page a majority picked, everything one specific client rejected - and the CSV export hands the same data to whoever does the next step.
And because an EveryPage link is tracked underneath all of it, the selection sits on top of full readership: you know the gallery was opened, which frames held attention longest, and whether a reviewer came back for a second pass before committing - usually the sign a decision is close. None of it stores a reviewer's IP address.
Photo proofing questions.
How do reviewers mark their picks?
Open the gallery link and each page carries pick, maybe, and reject controls - one tap marks the page, and the mark is saved to that reviewer. There is no account to create and nothing to download; the whole selection happens inside the shared link, on any device.
Can I see who picked what, not just a total?
Yes. Every page shows a tally of picks, maybes, and rejects, and you can expand it to a per-reviewer breakdown - which named reviewer chose what. When you invited reviewers by email, each set of marks carries their name instead of being anonymous.
How do annotations work?
A reviewer drags a box around the exact area they mean and attaches a comment to it. In your report the annotations are grouped by page, each showing the box and the name of whoever left it - so feedback lands on the precise spot rather than in a paragraph of description.
Do a reviewer’s selections survive if they come back later?
Yes. Each reviewer’s picks, maybes, rejects, and annotations are saved to them and restored on their next visit, so a client can proof a large gallery across several sittings without losing their place or starting over.
Can I export the selections?
Yes. Export the whole round to CSV - every page against every reviewer with their pick/maybe/reject mark - to pass to a retoucher or printer, or to keep as a record of what was chosen and by whom.
Which plan includes photo proofing and annotations?
Photo proofing (pick/maybe/reject page marks with the per-reviewer breakdown and CSV export) and box-and-comment annotations are both Pro features ($29/month). Watermarking and self-destructing previews that pair naturally with a client proofing round are also on Pro; every plan stores files encrypted and lets you expire links on your schedule.
Send the next round as a link.
Upload a PDF of your selects, invite your reviewers by name, and get the picks - and the annotations - back in one report.
