Works with Close
Know who read your proposal, on the lead’s timeline in Close
Share proposals, decks and contracts as tracked links. Every read, download and form fill is posted to the matching lead in Close as an EveryPage activity - pages read, time spent and read-through included - so your reps see it where they already work.
How it works.
One OAuth connection, one setting for which documents sync, and the activities start appearing on leads. No Zap, no spreadsheet, no per-seat add-on.
- 1
Connect Close
From Account, click Connect Close and approve EveryPage in Close. EveryPage creates a custom "EveryPage" activity type in your organization so the events are filterable, not buried in notes.
- 2
Choose which documents sync
Sync every document, a hand-picked set, or nothing for now - and decide whether unknown readers should become new leads. You can change either at any time.
- 3
Reads appear on the lead
When someone opens a tracked link, EveryPage matches their email to a lead in Close and posts the activity to that lead’s timeline: what they read, how far, how long, and whether they came back.
What lands in Close.
Each activity is a structured record on the lead - the same numbers your EveryPage readership dashboard shows, filed where the deal lives.
Event
Read, download, or form fill - so a Smart View can pick out exactly the signal a rep should act on.
Document
The document’s name, so a lead with three proposals in flight shows which one was opened.
Pages read
How many pages the reader actually reached out of the total - the page-by-page analytics EveryPage records.
Time spent
Total time in the document across the session. Ten seconds and six minutes are very different signals.
Read-through
The percentage of the document the reader got through, so you can spot who stopped at the pricing page.
Returning reader
Whether this reader has opened the document before. A second or third read is often the buying signal.
Reader email
The email that matched the lead - from the email gate, a form fill, or the per-recipient link they were sent.
Link
A link back to the full session in EveryPage, page by page, for reps who want the detail.
Timestamp
When the read happened, in the lead’s timeline order - so it sits between the call before it and the email after.
Works with what you already use.
The activity is a first-class Close object, so everything Close already does with activities applies to it.
Smart Views
Build a "read the proposal, hasn’t replied" view
Filter leads by EveryPage activity in the last 7 days with no reply, and hand reps a list of people who are warm right now.
Workflows
Trigger a follow-up on a read
Enroll a lead in a Close workflow when an EveryPage activity is logged, so the follow-up email goes out while the proposal is still open on their screen.
Per-recipient links
Send each contact their own link
Send a document to your contacts from EveryPage and every recipient gets a link tied to their email - so reads match the lead without a form in the way.
Email gate
Capture the email on public links
Turn on the email gate for a document you share widely and every reader identifies themselves before the first page. Unknown emails can become new leads in Close if you choose.
One flat plan, not one seat per rep.
DocSend-style tools charge per seat, so putting proposal analytics in front of the whole sales team means paying for every rep, whether or not they send documents. EveryPage is a flat plan: connect Close once and every lead in the organization gets the activities, regardless of how many people are on the team.
Reader privacy holds too. EveryPage never stores reader IP addresses and the viewer runs without cookies, so what reaches Close is engagement data tied to an email the reader gave you - not a tracking profile.

Questions.
Which EveryPage plan includes the Close integration?
Plan availability mirrors the Notion sync: the connection and activity posting follow the same plan gating, and features that depend on identifying the reader (the email gate, per-recipient links) follow their own plan rules. The pricing page lists exactly what each plan includes.
What happens to anonymous readers?
They are skipped. EveryPage can only attach an activity to a lead when it knows the reader’s email - from the email gate, a form fill, or a per-recipient link. Anonymous reads still show in your EveryPage readership dashboard; they just don’t reach Close.
Does EveryPage read my Close data?
Close’s OAuth grants a single full-access scope - there is no narrower one to request. EveryPage only ever uses it to look up leads and contacts by email, create the "EveryPage" activity type, post activities, and - only if you enable it - create leads. It is a one-way push: nothing else in your Close account is read or modified, and your pipeline is never exported.
Will it create duplicate leads?
No. Lead creation is off by default. If you turn it on, EveryPage first searches Close for the reader’s email and only creates a lead when there is no match. Readers with no email are never turned into leads.
Can I limit which documents post to Close?
Yes. Choose all documents, a selected set, or pause the sync entirely. Selection is per document, so internal files or drafts never reach a lead’s timeline.
Can I disconnect, and what stays behind?
Disconnect from Account at any time; you can also revoke EveryPage from Close’s connected apps. Activities already posted stay on the leads in Close - they are your records - and nothing new is sent.

Put proposal reads where your reps already look.
Upload a proposal, connect Close, and the next read shows up on the lead. Free to start, no per-seat pricing when you upgrade.
