DocSend pricing in 2026: plans and costs
By Nick Pears ·
DocSend's cheapest plan costs $15 per user per month billed monthly, or $10 billed yearly, and its Advanced plan is $250 a month for 3 users ($150 billed yearly). In October 2026 DocSend is also showing some visitors a second price list with no Personal plan and Standard at $43 per user ($30 yearly), so the price you see may differ. DocSend lists no free plan, but new accounts get a 14-day free trial with no card required.
We make EveryPage, a cheaper way to share a PDF and see who read it, so every DocSend figure below links to DocSend's own pricing page or Dropbox's help centre, checked on 16 October 2026.

What DocSend costs for a team
Personal and Standard are priced per user, so the bill grows with each person. Advanced includes 3 users. Monthly cost, billed monthly (billed yearly in brackets):
| Team | Standard (list A) | Standard (list B) | Advanced |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 person | $65 ($45) | $43 ($30) | $250 ($150) |
| 3 people | $195 ($135) | $129 ($90) | $250 ($150) |
| 5 people | $325 ($225) | $215 ($150) | $430 ($270) |
Is DocSend free?
No free plan is listed on DocSend's pricing page. New accounts get a 14-day trial of Advanced Data Rooms (Dropbox Help), and DocSend's sign-up page says no credit card is required (DocSend sign-up). When a trial or a paid plan ends, the account drops to a free Limited Trial plan with 10 links, 5 documents and only two visits per document visible (Dropbox Help).
Are Dropbox and DocSend the same thing?
Dropbox owns DocSend, but DocSend is a separate product with its own plans: Dropbox's own plans don't include it (Dropbox plans). Dropbox used to have a built-in "Send and track" feature, and Dropbox said it "will be discontinued starting March 31, 2025", pointing users to reshare through Dropbox without analytics or through a new DocSend account (Dropbox Help, archived March 2025).
How to cancel a DocSend subscription
You cancel from DocSend's billing settings; Dropbox's help article walks through it (Dropbox Help). The plan stays active until the end of the billing period, then drops to the Limited Trial. DocSend's terms say fees are non-refundable except where the law requires, and that prices can change with at least 30 days' notice (DocSend terms).
When DocSend is worth the price
If you run deals through data rooms or want eSignature built in, every DocSend plan covers that, and its Advanced plans add NDAs, verified visitor email, dynamic watermarking and allow and block lists (DocSend pricing). EveryPage has no data rooms, NDAs or eSignature, so if that is the job, DocSend or a data-room product is the right tool. (EveryPage Pro does have per-viewer watermarks and a domain allowlist.)
A cheaper way to share a PDF and see who read it
If the job is sending a PDF and knowing who opened it and how far they read, EveryPage charges a flat price per account:
- Free: 3 PDFs, with views and readers counted.
- Basic, $9 a month ($90 a year): page-by-page reading time, password protection and up to 100 PDFs.
- Pro, $29 a month ($290 a year): an email gate, per-viewer watermarks, your own domain, and replacing the PDF behind a link.
Basic at $9 a month is 40% less than DocSend Personal at $15, and 79–86% less than DocSend Standard at $43–65. Basic has no email gate; for that, Pro at $29 a month is 33% less than Standard at $43, or 55% less than Standard at $65. See the full DocSend alternative comparison, or EveryPage pricing.
