# EveryPage Browser Extension for Chrome & Edge

# The EveryPage browser extension

Turn any PDF into a tracked EveryPage link without opening the dashboard. Right-click a PDF link on any page, or use the toolbar popup to upload one, and get a secure share link back in a couple of clicks. Works in Chrome and Edge.

## What you need

- Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
- A free EveryPage account.
- An EveryPage API key from Account → API keys.

## Install

1. Install from the Chrome Web Store (Chrome) or the Microsoft Edge Add-ons store.
2. Click Add to Chrome (or Get on Edge), then pin the EveryPage icon to your toolbar.

## Connect your account

1. Click the EveryPage toolbar icon and open Options.
2. Paste your API key and save. It's stored locally in the extension and sent only to everypage.co.

## Share a PDF

- Right-click a PDF link on any page and choose Share via EveryPage - the extension uploads it and copies the tracked link.
- Or open the toolbar popup and upload a PDF directly from your computer.

Uploads run through the extension's background worker, so the link comes back without a page reload.

## What data is sent

The extension only contacts everypage.co, and only when you ask it to share a PDF. It sends the PDF and your API key over HTTPS - nothing else, and no browsing data. Full details are in the extension privacy policy.

## Questions

### Which browsers does the extension support?

Chrome and Edge (and other Chromium-based browsers that use the Chrome Web Store). It is built on Manifest V3.

### Does the extension read my browsing history?

No. It acts only on a PDF link you right-click or a file you choose in the popup, and it talks only to everypage.co using your API key. It does not watch the pages you visit.

### Is the extension free?

Yes, the extension is free. Readership depth follows your EveryPage plan, and the free plan covers core readership.

### Do I need an EveryPage account?

Yes - a free account and an API key (Account -> API keys). You paste the key into the extension options once to connect it.
